Easter Camp

Learning something new at Easter camp

Join in on Excel's Easter camp and you'll experience an action packed week of fun, exercise, skills development and new friends.

The week will have a variety of sporting activities, tournaments, team games and filmmaking. We will also be teaching Life-saving skills, including the recovery position and CPR on dummies. This will take place throughout the week but not on the Friday

Animal man will be visiting us on Wednesday, to help your child interact with and find out more about reptiles. This includes meeting and feeding a T-Rex!

Our manager Colin will take the children through the essential life saving skills, recovery position and CPR on dummies.

INCLUDED:Roaring Reptiles

A unique experience with the chance to touch and hold snakes, lizards, spiders, insects and bugs. 13 weird and wonderful exotic creatures from around the world including: 40 inch boa constrictor snake, bearded dragon, gecko, corn snake, milk snake, blue tongued skink, tarantulas, tortoise, cockroaches, giant snail, crickets, and locusts.

Barnie the T-Rex is a real dinosaur standing 8 foot high and 12 foot in length, and he roars like crazy! He also loves to scope the place out, looking for tasty children.

Barnie and our fun dinosaur ranger will make sure everyone has the best time. We’ll meet and greet our audience, have roaring competitions to see who has the loudest roar, loads of selfies and photos, a bit of feeding time for Barnie and some dino games.

Parents are invited to attend the end of week show on Friday 4.30 pm in the theatre to watch the highlights of the week, the films made during the course of the week on the big screen and then prize giving.

Excel staff will work hard to ensure that each and every day is fun and rewarding, and that your children exercise and learn in a safe environment. With over 22 years of experience, there is a reason Excel camps are regularly fully booked. Make sure to book now for a space this Easter and experience a holiday camp that lives up to its reputation

All equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own specialist equipment if you prefer e.g. tennis racket.

Wear clothing suitable for the season and a full active day eg shorts and tracksuit bottoms, trainers, fleece and a waterproof. We like to get outside as much as possible.

Due to allergies Excel does not provide food. Bring snacks and a packed lunch full of nutritous food fit for a full, active day. Sweets are not a good source of energy! St George's often provide a snack at the end of the day but this will be given after sign out, to allow you to decide if it is suitable.

Bring a refillable water bottle. Water is available at the water fountains for refills.

If you need to bring medicine you will be asked to fill out a form at the start of the week and this will be kept stored for you in case it is required. This can be stored in a fridge if required.

Please do not bring ipads, tablets or telephones. If you do need a telephone, you will be asked to hand it in at the start of the day. This is to protect the taking of images of children.
