Excel+ Activities run throughout our Summer weeks. Each Excel+ activity takes the place of the All Sports activities during the day, typically for 2-3 hours with the children joining the main camp for the remainder of the day. This allows them to focus on one activity through the week but not to miss out on the team activities, prizes and film making that make up Excel.
Excel Sports is regulated by the Care Inspectorate. Our ratios are 1:8 and we generally employ PE teachers or PE students with assistants who have relevant qualifications.
All Excel staff have completed and passed an up to date Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) check. This is a registration system for all people who work with children and vulnerable adults in the UK that will confirm that there is no known reason why they should not be permitted to work with these client groups.
All staff will also have completed a pre-camp child protection meeting to highlight and share good practice.
"Excellent opportunity for children to be active, learn new sports and activities, all whilst making new friends and having fun."J Vd Merwe
