Skiing and Snowboarding

For the skiing or snowboard enthusiast, a ski or snow board week at Midlothian Ski Centre will suit new or experienced participants in a variety of programmes or levels designed to develop their skiing/snowboarding skills during their intensive snowsports week.

Two and a half hours of professional instruction is provided daily, and following Friday’s assessment, the Centre will award a recognised certificate of competency.

THIS PROGRAMME IS A WEEK LONG & STARTS AND ENDS EACH DAY AT ST. GEORGE'S.  ANY MINI-BUS/COACH TRAVEL WILL BE ARRANGED BY EXCEL AND TAKES PLACE WITHIN THE DAY AT EXCEL.

Children will be accompanied by Excel Instructors Monday to Friday and will spend each afternoon on the slopes.

Protective clothing, thick socks and gloves are absolutely essential!

At the end of the week, family and friends are invited to join in the fun of the children’s Oscars and Prize Giving Ceremony.

Each day includes a half-day skiing and a half-day participating in the Multi-Sports Programme.

Suitable for 6 – 14 years for skiers
& 8 – 14 years for snowboarders
