Rock Climbing

Alien Rock & the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena will provide SPA trained instructors to help children to enjoy climbing safely and develop the competence of experienced climbers further in a challenging week.

 

THIS PROGRAMME IS A WEEK LONG & STARTS AND ENDS EACH DAY AT ST. GEORGE'S.  MINI-BUS/COACH TRAVEL WILL BE ARRANGED BY EXCEL AND TAKES PLACE WITHIN THE DAY AT EXCEL.

Climbing activities deliver rewards mentally and physically in an environment where working together creates great bonds and new friendships. Aimed for climbers with some or no experience, days 1-3 will be spent at Alien Rock before graduating to days 4 & 5 at the Edinburgh International Climbing Centre.

For the bravest, the week is rounded off by tackling the now famous Aerial Assault Course 100 feet above the ground!  Every session begins with a safety briefing and update from the previous days successes, and all equipment needed to climb will be supplied.

At the end of the week, family and friends are invited to join in the fun of the children’s Oscars and Prize Giving Ceremony.

Each day includes a half-day rock climbing and a half-day participating in the Multi-Sports Programme.
