Horse Riding

A combination of 5 riding lessons and 5 stable management classes is provided by BHS qualified staff at Houston Farm Riding School in a programme designed for all horse and pony mad boys and girls at different levels of ability. Fun games are arranged for Friday to compete for rosettes, and each child is awarded a certificate of merit by the stables. This specialist activity is suitable for all levels of ability, and riding hats are available for loan, free of charge.

Appropriate footwear i.e. school shoes or wellies (although not trainers) is needed and gloves are advised.

THIS PROGRAMME IS A WEEK LONG & STARTS AND ENDS EACH DAY AT ST. GEORGE'S.  MINI-BUS/COACH TRAVEL WILL BE ARRANGED BY EXCEL AND TAKES PLACE WITHIN THE DAY AT EXCEL.

 A definite must for that real hands-on experience!

At the end of the week, family and friends are invited to join in the fun of the children’s Oscars and Prize Giving Ceremony.

Each day includes a half-day at the stables and a half-day participating in the Multi-Sports Programme.
